Welcome to SoCalGarbageTrucks!
It all began when I was just a year old, barely tall enough to peek out the window on garbage day to watch the trucks drive up my street. Oddly enough, that "childish" love for trash trucks has continued to be an interest and hobby of mine to this day. With this channel, my goal is and has been to find and document a variety of different refuse trucks for those who have a passion for the waste industry. Though an overlooked profession and interest, I and many others have become fascinated with refuse and recycling collection equipment and have grown an appreciation for the men, women, and equipment dedicated to keep it running smoothly.
My filming experiences have taken me to countless destinations on the map that I would have never traveled to otherwise. My quests to find the more classic and uncommon trucks take me outside of my hometown to many parts of California and several states as well. Subscribe if you like watching garbage trucks in action!

Yes, these arms can definitely get a lot of abuse especially with LA City! EJ Harrison is easier on their trucks, but sometimes that means they aren’t as entertaining

Very cool, the huge hopper opening to the body and big clean out area sump door is classic. I wish Amrep still made them like that, like why fix something that isn't broken? Haha. Good stuff.
Thank you! A larger clean out area door is definitely more user friendly, and is due in part to these trucks being a single packer rather than the later dual blade system.

The bigger hopper will definitely help out on busy routes, what about the 300s, how would that work. The Scorpion is out of production, i take it, but this truck looks really good for the city, hopefully they can upscale on truck sizes and make it work.

I do enjoy this, thx for uploading it. Could you film a demo of the old style custom ASL top door assembly opening and closing from the street side? And maybe up close a couple different angles. Always liked how they do so much custom work there at EJ
